I have a customer that likes the features in UBB and is seriously considering moving from PHBB3 to UBB.
How would I import his database into UBB from PHPBB3?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, quite simply; without an importer, you can't really do that... And one doesn't yet exist for PHPBB3

Well, would be more sales for UBB and Rick if Rick made one, wouldn't you think?

i'd like to see a core, much like vBull does with the impex system. that way writing a new one is less coding and more filling in parameter lists in some nice tiered format (xml) or the like

Well, Rick did previously state that he's planning to work for something in a later build (v8) that would make maintaining importers far easier

Hi guys,
Any progress on a phpbb3 importer? I have a set of forums that I want to merge in with our existing UBB forums.
Thanks!

We don't have this for version 7.x, but we will for version 8. We're completely rewriting the importer system to accomplish a few things such as quicker turnaround in creating new importers.
