Im getting so many errors today.

New error:

Error #256: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/var/www/html/domain/forums/templates/compile'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user.

this directory is set to CHMOD 777 so I dont know why its giving me this

It sounds like all of your permissions got a bit out of whack. What you'll want to do as well as making sure the templates/complie directory is chmod to 777, which you already did, is delete all of the files within as well, to make sure they are rebuilt with proper permissions.
