The random image is just a quick hack, not really something officially supported (it's not in the stock code).  Basically it's the orphaned file attachments. We'll have rebuild scripts in v8 to make sure any orphaned attachments, gallery images, avatars are purged.

He has a broken avatar image as well. The link to his avatar doesn't pull up an image, rather a webpage.
