My new Threads installation is giving me PHP errors left and right. Can anyone diagnose the following?

PHP Warning: eregi() [<a href='http://www.php.net/function.eregi'>function.eregi</a>]: REG_EMPTY in /Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/eastonoutdoors/ubbthreads/adduser.php on line 179
PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/eastonoutdoors/ubbthreads/ubbt.inc.php on line 235

You have whitespace ( extra linebreak ) at the bottom of ubbt.inc.php after the ?>. Open it in a text editor and remove the extra space.

There's a single linebreak after the ?>

Does this single linebreak need to be removed? BTW, I didn't modify this file in any way from the default install.

Now I'm getting this error:
PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ')' in /Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/realtree/ubbthreads/ubbt.inc.php on line 1172
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmicrotime() in /Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/realtree/ubbthreads/main.inc.php on line 16

If there's a linebreak after the ?>, it should be removed, but that doesn't explain the parse error. It sounds like ubbt.inc.php is messed up, but it's hard to know what's wrong without looking at it.

The error about getmicrotime() is a secondary error result from the failure to parse ubbt.inc.php.

Which UBB.threads version?

The ubbt.inc.php that comes with 6.3.1 doesn't have a line break after the ?>

I don't get parse errors when viewing your board.

What version of php are you running?
There is a bug in php v 4.1 and prior that gives that error sporadically. I don't remember what the exact bug was. Something to with frames and form data. A refresh of the page would correct the problem.
