you can download starflight and play it, but it plays REALLY friggin fast! and you have to adjust the typematic settings, otherwise you have to hit every key twice.

Gato, old DOS submarine game, I spent HOURS playing this, my dad had the computer setup in his dark room in the basement, so I would play the game with just the red dark room lights on, was awesome.

the first game I ever played was Adventure, a.k.a
Collosal Cave. this was the original interactive text game, before infocom.
of course, I also spent several years playing various infocom games.
