I remember it. And BTW never could get very far either to techie of a game for me.
I think I finally did the file 13 on that game.
Does it even work on the boxes we have today?
That is if you even have a floppy drive for it. I believe mine was 5 1/4.

I have a game I would love to play but it will not work on today's machines at all. It is Comanche 2 by the same company.

I have their Comanche 4 game and it is totally rad but I still like the version 2 though.

Was that not a air fighter game?
I believe both of the above came to me with a gateway box. Also was another game can't recall but was about dragons. It was way to cool but never finished it because the disc was bad when I reached a certain level.

Okay I think that one never would run on my box even though it was included.
Funny how we think back on stuff like this.

Does anyone remember Mattel Intelevision.

you can download starflight and play it, but it plays REALLY friggin fast! and you have to adjust the typematic settings, otherwise you have to hit every key twice.
check out http://www.starflt.com/

I played it through to the end in high school, kept playing it trying different scenarios, etc. loved it.

there was a helicopter game I used to play, Gunship that I enjoyed

before those was Gato, old DOS submarine game, I spent HOURS playing this, my dad had the computer setup in his dark room in the basement, so I would play the game with just the red dark room lights on, was awesome.
my folks of course thought I was nuts.

the first game I ever played was Adventure, a.k.a Collosal Cave. this was the original interactive text game, before infocom.
of course, I also spent several years playing various infocom games.

bonus question, was the name of Infocom's newsletter?
(I was a proud subscriber, lol)
