I was able to attend my uncles 100th birthday! For 100 years old his mind was razor sharp and you'd never know you were speaking with someone who has lived 100 years!!!! His hand shake rivaled any mans handshake 60 years younger! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

WOW, That is great to have a family member 100 years old and be in such good shape. Congratulations on the 100 year birthday. I'm sure some of his adventures and life is captivating to say the least.
I loved listening to my father tell me about his younger days and about how different things and areas were back in his younger days. He had passed on in 2000 at age 84.

I had an aunt that lived to be 107! There does seem to be some longevity in my family, so I'm hoping I caught some of it...LOL

Oh, I do, all the time. Even myself, I've seen some great things happen since I was born in 1947.

Just think about it. He lived through the invention of the automobile, radio, television, computers, space flight, etc. Saw WWI, WW2, Korean war, Veitnam, both Gulf wars, Afghanistan.

Congrats Greg, that's truly a great feat in this day and age, although we are all living longer thanks to the marvel of modern medicine, it's still a shame when people sadly pass away at 59 like my father in law in June, but well done anyway!

Congrats to you Greg, and your Uncle. Hitting triple digits with the big 100 is truly impressive, he has definitely lived through a lot.
