UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Off Topic Shared revenue opinions

I'm buying a forum soon, and hopefully making a smooth move to UBB. I would like to know peoples opinions on shared revenue forums, like you see on digital point etc. with adsense. The community has started to stagnate a little, and I want to introduce something like this to get people posting (rather than going the paid to post route). Has anyone had any success with this and can u get it to work on UBB?

It all depends on your site. I've been running them, although not on UBB, and haven't had much luck with them. Maybe $200 per year if I'm lucky.

The site I'm buying has almost 250 members, and they used to be very active. Its a wholesale forum, so it depends on how active the sellers are too. I'm not hoping for loads of money, just some better activity

By the way, were you referring to the RV forum taking $200 a year? Cheers mate

I think that a forum would be hard to manage, if you don't have moderators and a complete team, because it could lead you to no success
