I'll see if we can't get those redirected back to our site. I'm sure there are plenty of people with old bookmarks like those. If 59 $ is the last word then it could be acceptable. $59 is the renewal price, $53 if you use the coupon code before it's used up.

Also mine went off without a hitch.. however if you do a renewal make sure that you connected your forum account to your license #...almost forgot to do that myself.

Rick,
We upgraded to UBB Threads last year from the ancient UBB 5.44b and have never looked back since. Your software rocks and has been instrumental with the resurgence in interest for our sailing organization. I just renewed my license for a year and was able to use your discount code. I look forward to seeing the roll out of 8.0! Good luck with your "new" business adventure.

BTW, love the new member area... took a minute to compose all of my licenses though lol... I love the new downloads page, looks great; I like how it shows older versions as well; kinda curious what makes certain versions more popular than others to make it on the list though

Well, we only went back basically to the first version 7 release and the last classic/threads versions of the 6 series for import reasons. 7.5.4 and 7.5.4.1 aren't there since they really weren't even in the members area more than a day

From another one of those old guys from the "free wwwthreads" days through the Perl + PHP transition to Infopop who stuck it out and who is again glad he did... I'm extremely happy with this news and that you are once again the Man-in-Charge. You have always been a good friend as well as one dynamite developer. ![[Linked Image from the-highway.com]](http://the-highway.com/Smileys/a-ok.gif)

But where does that leave the ones with a Gold license, will we need to now upgrade our members area access every year?

Yeah but the rest of us will NEVER get a chance for a forever license. Now that's a rip.

JAISP, one thing I've learned over the years is to never say 'never'. There are ways to get around this glitch and I'm sure Rick will figure something out.

Has it been mentioned that renewing for more years per seat gives you a higher percentage discount? Like five or ten percent for four or five years?

I was going to renew mine for 5 years but I didn't have enough cash, I just placed an order for 1000 promotional stickers for my site, and need to make sure I have enough for hotel and car rental next month when I go to a mini vacation/conference ( as well as paying my normal monthly server bills)
but I did renew for 2 at least.

But where does that leave the ones with a Gold license, will we need to now upgrade our members area access every year? Gold license holders are still marked as such in our ticketing system so we'll still carry over that priority support, although hopefully with the new staff, nobody will need to wait long.
Gold license holders will have lifetime access to both the members area and the support ticket system. Looks like you don't have too, as the members area is where the downloads are

This is good news!...and a $25 annual renewal too...cool. I'm assuming there will be a limit on how many pages of "new wish list" each of us can post...right, Rick? I'm already getting requests from our members for UBBT forum iPhone apps. For your consideration...food for thought... http://seekingalpha.com/article/180565-10-technologies-that-will-rock-2010
