Off the top of my head I believe you have to add to the extra properties of your css. You'd need to add something like:

.topicsubject:hover {
background: color;
}

You'd need to do that for .alt-topicsubject, .new-alt-topicsubject, and .new-topicsubject

You'd edit your style and then in the extra properties, you'd add something like below (you'd need to change the blue to your color of choice):

Code
.topicsubject:hover {
background: blue;
}
.alt-topicsubject:hover {
background: blue;
}
.new-alt-topicsubject:hover {
background: blue;
}
.new-topicsubject:hover {
background: blue;
}

yes, the hover works fine. i've done this for a coupla styles before, just like Rick posted

then turned it off, because i (actually the board members) preferred without... i only style hover for things that are clickable as a general rule...

different strokes for different folks..

i had to turn theover over off as well, I like it, but most of my members found it to confusing or annoying...
