Is there a simple way to add social networking site stuff to a thread? I don't want it over the top on every post perhaps, maybe just the first post of as thread but it would be useful

Is there any mod out there to do this?

yes, over @ ubbdev there is an example.

i've also implemented one similar to that, but with a slightly different featureset..

it works fine.

dunno if you are wrong.. i can't remember, but the current active text replacement here, doesn't include a target="_blank" or equiv for the generated URL...

whether that is intentional is a matter for the dude in red with a cigar in his mouth..
