I began my UBB forum software registration and control panel editing on one computer. And then several hours later when I got home, I went to log in on my computer, it said username and password invalid. I even tried to use the temporary password, and it wont even allow access that way either. Its really irritating to not have phone support....

They should answer the phone during the day. Or you can at least leave a voicemail.

While we don't do support via the phone currently, our ticketing system is monitored closely. Any new tickets send a page to all of our staff, so tickets are normally responded to fairly rapidly.

As for your original issue, when you did your original registration did it send out an email to your email address? If not then that could be why the temp password hasn't come either (maybe email isn't sending out properly).

It could just be a case issue with the password.

Rick, it did originally send out an email verifying my username and password. I was able to log in and navigate thru the control panel for several hours, making changes and adding forum pages and doing normal setup. I even logged in and out a few times on the first computer. However, when I got home and used my personal computer, it told me my username and password that had already been verified were not valid, when I tried to log back into the forum. I even clicked the button where it asked "forget your password", and was emailed a temporary password, and that wouldn't even work, even though it said my original password would still work, neither one still will work.

Added a note to your installation ticket. So we can work on this there.

Rick, thanks a lot. My issues are resolved now and am enjoying my new forum. Thanks for all you have done.
