I invited a friend to my forum, and upon trying to register his username and password, he tried to log-in before he got his email verification email, and it has blocked him from being able to use it to log into the forum. I never got my computer generated email saying he signed up either. Now when he tried to re-register it tells him the username and email address he is using is already taken, but I see no signs of him in my userlist or anywhere. How can he start over to use these things. Thanks.

Also you need to goto CP>Edit Preferences At the bottom of the page is: Notify me when a new user registers on the forum. Select that option.
Then you can use cp>>member management Search for the email address and see what the status is.
It would be helpful if you posted your Forum URL.

Thanks Ruben, I've had over 20 people already join without issues and have been notified by email when they register. I went to the member management and saw I had 2 other registrations that said no action taken for some reason. So I enabled the Registration queue, and clicked beside their email names and now they are in. Thats good, but why have the other 20 people had no problems. My url is www.hotrodinlines.comThanks again, I love the forum software, its awesome.

I just tried to register. No problems. Maybe this is the issue.
If you register and then try to login before email a validation message. You will get a message that states: "The email for this account has not yet been verified"
Which is a proper message with your settings. That is what your friend should have seen.
If he tried to register again with your settings it will reject him. Due to even if he is not a validated user his email address is in the cue as used.
If you did not get notified and he was not in the registration cue then you need to look at it a little closer. Possibly the message went to the spam folder. Or you are having a problem. Such as a bug or file permission issues.
Email can be a fickle thing. So you need to watch it maybe. If you continue to have issues ,then report it in the bug forum.

Oh, You also have registration approval enabled. So your friend would get a message: "This account has not approved yet." Until you approve it in the control panel.
