Hello all, I am new back to threads from fusion, and i guess i don't totally understand the subscription part on threads.

On fusion when someone subscribed and opted to pay by mail it showed on my subscription search and i could switch them to paid.

On the new threads install it isn't giving me that option, I show no one, even the ones that opt to pay by mail.

Also there is no option to manually add a new subscription user. Don't quit understand how you are going to manually add a subscription user if they send a check.

I was hoping i could manually add uses that paid using the old fusion board as it didn't migrate to the new threads install.

HELP!!!!

Thanks

I don't use the feature but I believe you need to enable payment by mail or money order.
CP>>Payments
Allow payment by:
Select: Check or Money Order

Have you done that already?

Users that opt to pay by check should show up. Probably the easiest thing at this point is if you can open up a support ticket with the admin info to your forum so we can take a look at a couple of things.

when i do a "search all" I do get 1 user listed, but then it shows 17 pages but those pages wont open, i think i found a bug fix for that, i will run that fix and report back.

Kind of figured as this was a brand new install past bug fixes would have been upgraded on the new download.

Guess that still doesn't explain if i can just run a username and do a manual subscription for them with out them doing anything at all on their end.

2) Can just run a username on the subscription area and do a manual subscription for them with out them doing anything at all on their end.

At this time unfortunately not. The only thing you can do is just add the user to the group the subscription gives access to. We'll have an option to do this in version 8 however.

You could potentially add the user to the ubbt_SUBSCRIPTION_DATA table as well if you're comfortable with mysql. Looking at a couple of the other active subscriptions for an example it would be fairly easy to insert a new row so the subscription expires when you want it to.
