We had a standard license of UBB purchased about 5 years ago. Recently, we need to build a new server to host it and we purchased, downloaded and installed the latest version of the software and MYSQL data base for our server. We need to migrate the data from the old data base into the new one for the UBB server? How can we do that?

ideally it's not a large database and you can use phpMyAdmin to export from old and import to new..

if its a larger DB, then you'd need to use something like mysqldump to save it (best to pipe that thru bz2 to compress)

then on the other side you'd import with mysql...

that assumes you have access to the Shell..
