Ok, so I was poking around today while looking for a virus scanner to scan websites remotely when I came accross an interesting feature of a forum (this forum); after X ammount of time with no response the thread gets locked as to avoid breathing life into old support threads...

i found it kind of interesting as a potential feature...

This is an interesting feature indeed. I use it in my current e107 board on a different way: When there is no reply in a topic for two weeks the quick reply box disappears and users get a message that they should consider if their message is interesting enough. I would like this feature in UBB also
