For one particular style-sheet, I would like to remove the .author-content column

Any ideas how I would go about doing this?

I tried display:none; but clearly that is missing something...

post_side.tpl

post_top.tpl

note: it would also affect viewmessage as well as showflat

Yeah, that's why I would prefer to do it via a style-sheet.
Think it's possible?

hrm.. well.. i ran stylish (FF add-on) to play a bit..

setting .author-content {display:none;}

works and kinda doesn't..

Click for full size

i'd have to look closer.. because removing a TD outta the equation kills the flow for sure. and you can't be tricky and set it to width:0px; either, since the td has an explicit size.. laugh

small tweak to the .tpls though and voila.. wink

ok.. got it..

you have to sacrifice post_top_link too, but if you set both author-content and post_top_link to display:none; that will preserve the table tr td flow.. wink

by the way, it works and doesn't work by the way..

for users with posts layout 'TOP', it might break.. this was geared towards those who like post layout 'LEFT'
