I guess they don't want us old-fashioned types (XPpro & IE7) trying it.

If they keep improving these smart phones, I won't have a need for anything running Windows.

For test purposes if nothing else. You might not be using it but no doubt some your visitors will so surely you'd want to know how it works with your site.

The number of visitors using IE anything is so low I'm not concerned at all about it.

For me it's:
IE: 42.3%
FFox: 37.3%
Chrome: 7%
Opera: 4.9%

So for us when just under half of our visitors still use the plague that is IE, we've got to keep track of such things tongue

I guess my forum is really behind the times:

47.5% IE
35.35% Firefox
8.23% Safari
5.73% Chrome
3.6% Opera

I've been spoiled by the "Morning Coffee" extension... it opens your favorite sites every time you click it...

They do.

I don't know why there are two versions. I'm using the one marked 1.3.0 beta. works well.

Are you also aware of the developers tools built into Chrome?

yes i am.. and firebug lite is the same 'solution' they have for IE as well..

but the key is still the 'lite' portion of it..

basically, i LOVE chrome for speed...

and i use FF for the developer environment..

now since i primarily develop for a living... FF gets to be (mostly) my browser of choice...

90% / 10% for now... nothing against chrome though smile

I'm in the boat with SD really... I imagine it wont take too horribly long for chrome to fill in the blanks though

Just installed Chrome and was not impressed with it. Very jerky when scrolling on sites where FF is very smooth. Uninstalled it again and might check it later on to see if it's improved. Do not like Safari at all.

They have a plugin for that... SmoothScroll

Some people like their scroll differently.. smoothly, one page at a time, 4 lines at a time, etc.
