How do I force attachments to open in a new window?

7.2.2 if it matters.

I don't have a copy of 7.2.2 at the moment to check the exact location or change, but what you're looking for is in scripts/showflat.inc.php

Search for filelink and you should see where it's created for each attachment and you can modify the <a href, adding a target='_blank'
