Hi,

Is it possible to change the order of replies within a topic so that they go in reverse order (newest replies first)?

UBB.threads version 7.5.5

Thanks!

I think you're looking for the "Default Sort Field and Direction?" option in "Forum Settings" for each forum

I am a Web Development Contractor, I do not work for UBBCentral. I have provided free User to User Support since the beginning of these support forums.
Do you need Forum Install or Upgrade Services?

That is for the forum listing. I think he wants to reverse the order within a topic not a forum. I don't know if there is a way to do that.

From what I recall that is true.
There is not a stock feature to reverse the reply order.

Definitely not in stock at this time, and just swapping the asc/desc value in the SQL query won't work since there are calculations done for new posts, jumping to a certain post that would fail. Would be possible with some work but would require quite a bit of modification to the stock code.

Think we could be able to accommodate this in the stock code with an option if there is enough demand for it.

Thanks for the reply!

For my purposes that feature would be really useful. And I am sure that I am not alone.
