Try going to the gallery settings in the control panel and just "submit" the page

No not working mate.
Just changed a few settings and now it is saying

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5120 bytes) in /home/sites/thewirral.org/public_html/libs/image.inc.php on line 78

Well, submitting the form did work, it is no longre an undefined function. Now the (no longer undefined) function is taking more memory than your php settings have made available to it.

Try again with a smaller image. I'm not sure which php.ini setting you would need to increase for this, but starting with a smaller image would also work.

php.ini needs to be changed to allow for a larger POST submit size, you also might want to increase the maximum file upload size while you're there..

2 values to change smile

If you don't know what it is, I doubt you have access to it... Or would feel comfortable with going through a webserver configuration file (assuming you're on a dedicated server).

if you're on a standard shared host, you'll need to email your host and ask them to up the settings

yes 2M is 2MEG

you will also ask your hosting provider to increase the maximum post size limit as well..

see if you can get them to give you 6M or even shoot the moon for 10M

then you can regulate that on your side in ubb.threads settings so you don't allow HUGE pictures anyway wink
