Hi all,
I am looking to put a donation button in the signature of the moderators of my forum so that they could receive a donation for themselves for all the work that they do.
If someone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated because I have tried but have had no luck in getting to work.
This is what I'm trying to get in the signature. <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick"> <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="H98C36TEXLXW6"> <input type="image" src="http://www.outdoorking.com/forum/images/attachments/button_0.jpg" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online."> <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_AU/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"> </form>
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you can put a form element, or any html at all, into a signature. You can only use UBB Code. I would create a post that had the form link in it and then link to that post from their signature.

I'm not sure if the CustomTags feature of the UBB will work in sigs, but you could give that a try...

you'd have to disable the disabling of custom tag parsing in html.inc.php in order for custom tags to work in siggies.
file: html.inc.php (do_markup function)
just comment out that one line and custom bbcode would work..
but the drawback there is that peeps could prolly put youtube vids in their sigs too etc..

Thank guys for all your advice regarding putting a link into the signature. I think I would be better off not allowing the option of people putting html code in as Sirdude has said they could even put youtube vids in and it could create problems.
