I have installed a new version of 7.5.5. I can login through the admin account.

However, I am having problems with user registration. I can get the login screen to display and it does allow me to login to my admin account.

When I click the 'Register' link, it displays the screen of forum rules with a check box to click and accept rules. Problem is, it recycles to that screen and never does display the screen for the required user registration information.

I have checked the forums and not found a similar issue.

Anyone have an idea of how to correct the login sequence??

More than likely it's a permission issue on your sessions directory. Check the permissions on that directory and make sure that it's fully writable.

No. It is 777. I even deleted some old session files to see if they were an issue.

I have check permissions against the install list. All set correct. Interestingly, I removed the check for forum rules and still have forum rules displayed...

Hmm. Can you open up a support ticket so we can take a closer look?

Problem solved. There was an incomplete file upload and several files were missing in the templates directory. Uploaded new files and everything works.
