Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to change the "subject line" of the automated email notifications that are sent from Watched Forums and/or Watched Topics? Quite often some users will try to reply to the email as opposed to posting their response on the forum.

I'd like to add a "Do Not Reply" tag to the subject line of automated emails to prevent this, or maybe add something in the first line of the message explaining that the user must visit the forum in order to reply to the message. I'm sure there's a solution for this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well the default settings already have:
No need to reply to this email.
On the first line of the email body.
But any way you can edit the language file.
There are several keys that address emails.
Mailer.php is probably the file to start with.
GOTO Control Panel » Languages-Tab- Language editor
At Choose Specific Language File
Select Mailer.php
Then click on the GO button.

The first two "key" items you probably want to look at is:
EMAIL_HEADER_TEXT
WNF_SUBJECT
