Ok, I was poking around earlier and I found this forum, i was on like page 300 of like 900 (something high) and noticed that the original post in the thread followed me as the #1 post on the page (separated from the thread on subsequent pages however)...

I thought, this is kind of cool, I don't have to go back to reference THAT thread, it's right there at the top of EVERY page!

I don't recall which site this was at, but it really was a great little feature...
