Ok, this is a site that my 12 year old son put together. He's not much for promoting or running it, but he's really learning on developing so I told him I'd promote it for him and make sure it runs smoothly. So take a look-see. This was all his idea and he worked off the design my wife did for theadexp site, but he did everything himself, except for the logo which I had made for him. It's all about Outdoor Life & Recreation in Washington State. Bookmark, make a post or two ff your bored. Or if you know any outdoorsy types in Washington, pass the site along. At 12 years old I'd like to keep him encouraged on doing this so I'll be promoting and pushing this pretty heavily. Thanks all http://www.wildwashington.com

I put up a contest over on the digitalpoint forums. Was a guy with the handle of pixobox. Does some very nice work. Logo came with every bit of the graphic on it's own individual photoshop layer, so would have been easy to modify if I needed to but we just went with what he came up with.

Seems like a cheaper option then 99designs. Thanks for the link.

Yeah, definitely cheaper, but it can be hit and miss on the quality. You'll get some that look like they were created by someone using Microsoft Paint, and then some that are nice but might need a bit of work, and then some really nice ones. So you just need to make sure you run a contest for long enough that you'll get some decent options to choose from.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to integrate with Wordpress? This looks fabulously seamless.

I think we should work on an "integration" article for UBB and link to various integration paths with other products... Would make for a good close on v7 and a great start for v8...
What all have people integrated with? I've seen Drupal and Jamoola; anything else?

I do wordpress integrations all the time the obvious 1st layer is really just taking advantage of the RSS feeds and putting their contents into widgets.

SD, do you have a WP integration for tying in WP comments to UBB usernames?
We've done various integrations over time. The only word of caution I would give is that anytime you modify an install it makes your upgrade path much more time consuming, making exploit upgrades hard to do quickly. With WP plugins you only risk breaking the plugin if there is a significant change in either the WP or UBB codebase.
I've done a integration for Price Tapestry affiliate engine, only allowing reviews by logged in UBB users. If people are interested in it, drop me a line. For those of you who are not familiar with PT, it's an affiliate feed parser and price comparison engine. It's a great way for established UBB sites to generate some income.

I didn't actually do the integration, but I know part of it was taking the proper header portion from wordpress and modifying the UBB header to display that. And using the RSS feed as a widget as SD stated.
