I'm using UBB Threads 7.3.1

Is it possible to turn off the feature that automatically shortens links?

look for "Handle url shortening"

either remove (comment out) those 4 lines of code.

you can also adjust for the if to always fail too. ie:

PHP Code
if (false && strlen($body) > 100 && !preg_match("#(<img src|<span)#",$body)) { 

adds immediate fail to the if..
