I am using 7.5.6 and while saving a custom island I must have done something wrong and now I can not get the left side Custom Island to show. The Right shows but not the left. How do I fix the problem and/or is there a files that is corrupted and needs to be replaced?

If it is just one island not showing on the left it could be you placed two islands in the same position.
check
Control Panel ยป Portal Layout
see if a island number for the left side has the same number twice.

Could have been a file cache issue.
