Hello
I have a client who has decided to move from my server where the current forum is hosted. What is the best method to hand over as much as is possible of the existing forum that would enable the new host to pick up where I leave off (as it were)?

thanks

Jeff

Basically you need to export the database for them and then just zip up their forum and files. That's really about all they need.

If you have access to the server from the command line then you can use the mysqldump command.

Something like

mysqldump databasename > database.dump
