can you better describe 'get in' ?

they can't login ?
they can't register ?

are there any other specifics, like what browser they are using or operating system?

etc etc

more details, the better wink

Hello, Fishguts asked me to help him on his new board with members that are having problems. I have set up new accounts and sent them their log in information and they are still having problems. 1 member in particular can not log into the account I made for him but yet I can go and log into it fine. This seems to be happening with many. Any help you can offer these members before they lose interest would be grateful ! Tim

well, the forum is hosted on mindraven, so maybe open a support ticket and give as much detail you can ?

i know i was able to register with no problems over there.

one thing that is annoying is the age check asking twice to verify age and it could trip them up.

i usually turn that off, since how are you really going to check someone's age anyway?

Without any actual error message.
It could also be the referrer check is not disabled.
Caused by the user security settings.
Try looking at:
Control Panel ยป Primary Settings[+] Advanced settings
select the "Disable HTTP Referer Check?"

I believe that version 8 will not even have this option since it is not really needed anymore.
But it helped for some of my people that can't figure out how to change the security settings.

i'd be curious to know what they did, so we can know what were the issue(s) and some things to possibly avoid and / or correct.

We've got to test this on a few more sites to see if it's a valid fix for everyone. But so far it looks promising.
