I want to enable a [center]....[/center] UBBCode tag. I can see it is valid some places, but cannot figure out how in my Threads forum.

Code
And is there a way to make the code tag show
preformatted text without enclosing it inside this
    "Code:" window?
Thanks for the help!

From the faq link on your board" what ubb code can I use in my post":
Quote
Text and Image Alignment
[align:left|center|right] text [/align] = Will align the text in the direction defined.
[img:left|center|right] Image URL [/img] = Will allow you to allow text to wrap on the specified side of your image.

If you have ubbcodes enabled then it should work.
Looking at your site guests are not allowed ubb code.
UBBcode is disabled for guests on your site.

Well thanks for that, Ruben!

I knew about the IMG tags from the clickable image shortcut/icon, but had never seen the align ones.

Now about that "code" tag... I thought I saw a discussion here sometime ago on how to create or modify the stuff those tags do.

The ubb tags in the faq work by default because they are hard coded. They all don't appear as a option when posting. You either need to know them or look at the faq.

But they can be added.
Either as a hack or I believe in the code tag editor in the new versions.
Control Panel ยป Content Rebuilder -tab- Code tag editor.

You would need to know regex to enter it which I am no expert by any means.

Gizmo has a code tag import using indent for the tag editor at ubbdev somewhere that could probably be modified to use center.
Or maybe just find the regex in the scripts for center and add that to the editor. Not sure at this point what file hass all the ubb code in it right now but it probably is either in the includes or libs folder.
