Some times I turn on Registration Approval and or Post Moderation. The problem is that there is no outward notification on the site that your attention is needed; you need to periodically go to the control panel and look for this which is a PITA.

I think a nice way to handle this is to Blink that little PM icon when there are one of these events that need your attention.

Maybe Blink it GREEN so as not to confuse it with a PM.

Log-in and go to "My Stuff / Edit Preference" on your forum.

Scroll all the way down and look for "Edit Moderator & Administrator Preferences"

You'll find various settings there that you are looking for that will trigger emails to you.
