It looks very similar to Chrome but it's much faster that 3.6.

If anyone is using Roboform to manage their passwords, it will not work unless you purchase the upgrade to Roboform v.7.x. So, now I'm stuck until I can upgrade my Roboform. However, I do like the speed of FF4, although I'm not very enamored of the look of it.

I was having some serious lockup issues with Firefox 3.6. Firefox 4 is definitely much better.

I hadn't had any lockup issues with FF3.x. FF4 is definitely faster, but I still don't care for the layout of the tool bars. They take up a lot of real estate due to a lot of space between then that wasn't there in older versions.

They still need to trim the empty space between the tool bars. If I could return to v3.x I would, but I've already spent too much money on getting one of my addons to work with v4.

Anyone notice that you cannot control cache size with FF4? Oh, it says you can override auto cache control and set the max size but does nothing. I noticed serious disc thrashing with FF and found the cache was over a gig. It took 20 minutes to clear the cache! The next time I used FF 4 the disc just thrashed and thrashed and still does it now and then.

Anyone else getting this behaviour?

I upgraded to FF 4 3 weeks ago and it had so many bugs that I had to go back to 3.6. After about having 14 tabs open the product is useless.

I gave it the big hammer last night and deleted my profile altogether, forcing it to create a new one. Seemed to run better afterwards. We'll see what comes of it.

Remember when we all started using Mozilla because it was light and fast and didn't have a lot of stuff that nobody wanted? Whatever happened to that?

Also, everytime it automatically updates itself it deletes all of your passwords and bookmarks. Version 4 wouldn't even save my new passwords.

I use 1pass, not an issue for me fortunately. With all the browsers on all the operating systems that I'm using I'd go crazy without that.
