Does anybody know how to rename my database name through my remote FTP access? Any information would be helpful.

If you don't have terminal access, you can backup your database than dump it. Create a new and import via phpmyadmin.

Thank you that worked!! Now my forum doesn't connect to the database because I changed the db name. How can I get my ubb forum to point to the new db name?
