UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 7 Version 7 Support Server host changed php version..help requested

Hey everyone,

Our server host upgraded to php version 5.3 today. Unfortunately, this caused our entire UBB forum to have syntax errors.

I contacted the server and they said it was because we are running UBB version 7.2.1 and it isnt compatible with php 5.3.

Does anyone know what we can upgrade to or of any fix to get us back up an running?

If you have a current membership you could just do an install of the new version 7.5.6p2 (with patch 2) then bring your DB from your broken board over... it would mean you would have to do some of your customizations again that way.... But I am not sure the upgrade script would work if your other board is giving syntax errors... I would actually just try to run the upgrade script first but wait until SD or one of the other guys gives a better answer.
