I have been banning spammers by ip address. I then have to go in and delete each of their posts.

Is there quicker method to accomplish this; perhaps a "delete user and all posts" function that I haven't found and then ban the ip address(es)?

There is a way to do that... when you go to the ban user page... there is a link at the bottom that does just that. It will even prompt you to ask if you are sure before doing it.

EDIT: Correction- Open up the edit user page...at the bottom it has links to delete user. Use that and it will do what you were asking. It will ask to confirm before it does it.

You'e welcome (if you were speaking to me).. also I have noticed "bleed-over" spammers from here hitting our links and posting their spam on my board as well. Never had spammers before, this is a whole new arena for my mods lol.

I made an account at stopforumspam, but I hadn't put it in my forums yet...maybe today is a good day for that.
