UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback Ability to "like" individual posts (not Facebook "likes)

I think it would help build community if members were able to "like" individual posts within a thread. So often someone posts something particularly witty or helpful and it would be nice to have a way to give them some kudos.

I don't know how easy this would be to do but is definitely on my wish list. What do you think?

i made a suggestion a while back for allowing people to "thank" a previous post (and have thanks for that post added below it); i don't recall the consensus on it though

I know I've seen this mentioned before... but you just try searching on 'like'

A search didn't turn up anything but it could be under different keywords.

I did find a post back from 1999 that mentions it - you must have a great memory

It was the thank feature that was discussed.
And was tabled till after 7.6 comes out.
