Hi All,
I am having an issue with my permissions (admin)and I think I could have made the error when I was setting up a new group on the forum called Sin Bin for members that are not following the rules of the forum. In doing this their post have to be moderated prior to posting on the forum.
It appears that I have done something that has caused me (admin) to only be able to approve post in the control panel and nothing else.
Is there a way to correct things so that I have full control of the control panel and if so what file do I need to edit in order to correct it please.

Did you set the forum permission to be moderated for posts or the group. For example here success stories are set to moderate posts via forum permissions. So you can see them in the control panel. But the new post indicator does not appear in the forum summary page. but if you open the forum then you see a new post with a topic prefix of NA-Not approved.

Ruben,
I have set the permissions so that the post can't be viewed until it has been approved by a moderator or admin.
My real issue at present is me being the adim, I don't have full access to the control panel and can only approve post. I need to get back my full access to the control panel so that I can set permissions.
Can you tell me what file I need to access to reset my admin settings please.

Odd. I need to peek at the database. It sounds like something happened to your login. Question. Should you be member 2! Or a better question is who or what member number should be the super admin. Database diving sounds like what is needed.

Ruben,
I am member 3 and when Sir Dude was working on it in the past he was the administrator which is number 2675. I don't know if the database was being backed up at the time of the error as it is set to automatic backup.

It does make a difference on who is the super admin. First step would be the config.inc.php file. Who should be the super admin? You Still probably need ftp root access?
