We have a number of people that can not access our forum at times.. www.clubadventist.comSome can if they do not use IE8. I am never denied. some are denied for 3-4 hours at a time.. How weird is that? H E L P please...

Can not access the forums?
Do the users mean log in ?
Or page can not be displayed ?

Thanks for you help... the sidebar should be about 350 points or picas what ever it is  only a fraction of the size of the forum... Most people just get a message as if the website does not exist... I have never had that... but folks all over the world are telling me that. One person could get it with a proxy, but not with his normal IP number..

Well we all should be aware already of a lingering issue with using IE. Login issues!
But this appears to be a issue outside of that realm.
Meaning possibly something amiss with your domain name pointers?
BTW,
I had no issues with firefox nor IE8.
For this issue I would start with your hosting account.

Do other pages on the site work for the users unable to access the forums? If so then it'd be a server related issue (your phone uses a different network than your computer); during an outage try to get someone to run a traceroute from their computer to the server to see where the issue may lie.

Looks like the domain isn't resolving; I'd say a possible issue with the DNS host; google search "traceroute gateway" and see if you can find services that allow you to traceroute from their server; if it just can't DNS then it'd be an issue with your host and/or dns host. I called upon some friends to help find the problem, and they found it using a server in Romania... now.... just waiting for the host MindRaven.com to make the needed adjustments... I just have to add that the subject of this first post is BRUTAL!! How can anyone browsing the forum list... looking for a discription of a bug, really know what your bug report is about with a topic of "weird".
