Been fighting this for the past 4 days.
Can't log in to HERE (UBB Forum) using IE 9 (Ver 9.0.8112.16421) Tried it on TWO different computers.
But - when I use Firefox, then I CAN log in from both computers.
Had to get UBB Support (Brooks) involved. But we still don't have a solution for IE.
UPDATE: I CAN log in to my own UBB Forum using IE. Just not the UBB Central one.

Okay, I need to post this before I go any further.
Tried 3 times to log in with IE. No luck. Logged in with Firefox - okay.
Tried to log in 1 time with IE. No luck.
Logged in to my UBB forum (vcca.org/forum) with IE - Successfully.
Then I came back and tried UBB Central -- it worked!!!!
These were my last steps before I was going to reboot my router... but I haven't done that yet.
Now. Let me boot my first computer and see if that's still having a problem.

One item to try first is clear your old cookies. via My Stuff - cookies. There have been a lot of changes on cookies here.
I am interested on your result because I have a interest in the IE issue fix with the new version.

I thought you could get in once in a while! Okay I guess you need to do it manually The cookie names have changed a bit as far as a prefix. But they should be:
-- send him that in PM --
( sd ) you beat me to it. After I posted I was going back to edit it. But bottom line is anyone registered can view them.

Okay, let me summarize. I'll give my two computers a name.
LAPTOP: Can login using Firefox. Can NOT login using IE 9 for 4 days.
DESKTOP: Can login in using Firefox. Couldn't login using IE9 for past 4 days -- but then it started working this morning after I logged in to a different UBB forum using IE 9. Maybe coincidental?
MORE INFO: On the Laptop, I don't have ANY cookies that match the list that Ruben sent me. I don't think that I've EVER selected "Remember Me" when using that computer (it's my way of security - if I ever loose my laptop, there are very few, if any, passwords/cookies stored on it).
So -- deleting the cookies on the Laptop does NOT assist in resolving the problem.
Next?

Humm. I am using IE9 on a vista pc with this post and it is working fine. But I believe that even if you don't elect the remember me feature. Some cookies are still stored on your laptop. How else does it remember what you have read already.

Yes... you are on the right track.
I JUST SOLVED IT!!!!
I will post a DETAILED list of instructions here with screen shots. I need to do this for my own membership. I get 4 or 5 of these a month.
Give me a little while to do the screen captures.

Okay, here's the solution. It is ODD that I experienced this problem on BOTH of my computers for the same 4 day period. I can't explain that. But - here's what resolved the problem for me. Click START, Control Panel, Internet OptionsThen select Browsing history - DeleteWhen I deleted the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES, or the COOKIESit did NOT make any difference. The final solution was to DELETE " Passwords". (Be sure to close all browser windows and start over after your changes.) You can see my screenshots explaining this at HERE .
