How do I fix a slow login

It can take 30 seconds to log into my site. But once people are logged in things are zippy..

Thinking something is not set right..

Help and Thoughts?

I have that problem with this site. (Especially in the morning GMT)

It takes maybe 20 seconds to login - but then everything works normally.
