IF I remember correctly, when a word in the censored list is used, a bunch of "xxxx" are substituted for the word, or something similar. What I would like to do is to change what is displayed to a "censored" image I have on hand.
Is there a way to do this? If yes, then how would that be done?
TIA

It seems that you would need to change the stock code to do what you want. I see no way to do this in the CP.

Control panel, primary settings, censor, and at the bottom put what you want in the default replacement word box. Ours says [you said a naughty!] lol

Right..... you can supply your own word or phrase there. ![[Linked Image from the-highway.com]](http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/ButButBut.gif) my question was in regard to using an image, e.g., ![[Linked Image from the-highway.com]](http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/censored.gif) rather than text.

Can you be a little more specific? I tried: <img src="http://domainname.com/folder/image.gif"> and that didn't work. The [censored] text still appears. RESOLVED: Figured it out. Whether or not it is the best way to do it, I couldn't say. But what I did was to surround the image URL with the UBB [img] tags after each each word in the list of Censored Words. Nothing I tried in the "Default Replacement Word" field worked. If there is a better way to do this, I would really like to know. Adding in that [img] string after every individual word could get time consuming, hehe.

I have to wonder, however, if this can be accomplished 'globally', rather than having to enter the UBB code after every individual word.

Put the ubb code in the default box and it should work..... Thanks...... that works just fine. And, all one needs to put in the "list" are the words alone. ![[Linked Image from the-highway.com]](http://the-highway.com/Smileys/BigThumbUp.gif)

Yeah, the list is for more "masking" words, such as f**k and s**t so people can still understand them but still have them censored...
