We recently upgraded to UBB.threadsâ„¢ PHP Forum Software 7.5.7

Some users with:
OS--Windows 9
Web browser--Internet Explorer 9.

Have experienced this behavior:

For at least the past three days, when one writes anything longer than the initial window, the scrollbar returns you directly to the top when you end that sentence and pause.

If you, say, write something three 'windows' long, you have to continually scroll back down to where you left off, because as I said -- you pause and the message is scrolled right back up to the top.

This is especially problematic if one wants to edit a post they'd written the day before. After one key stroke you're scrolled to the top, and then you have to scroll back down and try to find the place where you left off.

Is this a known issue? Is there a solution?

I assume you mean windows 8.
But anyway there have been long standing issues with IE.
One option is to try compatibility mode in IE.
It has worked for some.
Not sure if that option is available in your configuration.
Since I have win 7 and IE 9.
Which BTW does not work with intuit quickbooks pro 10.

Can't help here since I use windows vista and windows 7.
Also I use firefox 21.0 on both machines.
I don't have the issue.

Could it be possibly some mod you installed, Or possibly what is installed in the html includes tab that might cause a issue?

We have had UBB for years and never had this issue before. Unfortunately, it is so bad it prevents people from posting to the Message Boards.

No different modules or html includes have been added since the upgrade to UBB 7.5.7.
