Hi,

Can you please comment on below error logs, the first one happen only once but the second several times.

[06-Sep-2013 07:47:01 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ',' or ';' in xxxxx/xxxxx/cache/online_now.php on line 10

Regarding below, why does it demand so much RAM 103607917 (98MB) for a search?
I have set the search to 15 years but there is only 10 years of data in the mysql

Well even 10 years is a lot of slugging through the query for a database that is even somewhat big.
For a experiment try changing the search setting to say three years and see if there is a difference.

The UBB Internal search will use less memory than the Full Text search; look for the option in the control panel.

Increasing the PHP max memory for scripts isn't unheard of btw.

Oh yes that is heard of, before I increased from 30mb to 128mb and then to 256mb but it did not help, then the host increased total memory from 1,5GB to 2,3 GB RAM.
I still pay for three slices. And then when it worked better at the time I decreased PHP max memory to 128mb again as the host mentioned that to much could have negative impact on something.

just wonder why it takes so much memory for a "search" ?
I use the internal search and has been all the time.

BTW I will increase to 256mb again
