Cool, Ruben, Gizmo and Dunny are on. That's good for me! I still find it funny that I am #4 on the posters board. Probably, because I am kinda numb and it takes me a while to understand.

So, my users LOVE the Shout Box. They shout a lot and, so far, they haven't used it to ask questions that should be asked in the forum.

The other day, though, every post there was gone. I tried a test message, but it didn't work. I was rather embarrassed, because I posted in the forum trying to explain and told everyone I was working on it (meaning coming over here), but then everything came back.

Plus, on ours there are little "x"s on the side so you can cancel your post (shout). I don't know if I am the only one who can delete other posts, but if everyone can do it, maybe not a great idea. Then again, not many would do that, so maybe a good idea to have that option. Yours does not seem to have that option.

When a non-latin character is inserted into the shoutbox it'll "go blank" until the message containing it rolls off; it's a long standing bug with the shout box.

Only admin's should be able to purge messages from the shout box (I think)

Awesome! I usually just set up a shout box permission and when someone violates a policy.. I put them in a group that has a -1 for shout box privs.
