Hi everyone,

I have created a few posts in a thread. All of company announcements. All are locked. I certainly understand the email with the red lock on it. I don't understand what the yellow icon is that looks like or is the same at the one in the lower row in the far right of your emoticon list.

Four on the posts have small purple icons on the right, which, if you hover over them say announcement. The problem is the first four have them. The last two don't. Is there a way I can add them to the last two? So:

What does the yellow icon mean? And, how do I add an announcement icon?

as far as the purple or yellow icon goes it will be from whatever style you are using.
So I am not sure what they are for without viewing the page.
It could be a sticky topic or a topic that has a lot of views or replies.
Or a topic that was rated.

But anyway an announcement post will make the announcement icon appear.
Edit the two posts and select:
"Make this topic a global announcement."

You probably just overlooked it .
