So my forum was recently hacked and taken over by spammers. When I try to login there is some type of redirect that shoots me over to another page and I cant even get into the site. Where do I go to take the re-direct off so I can take control of my forum again. Please please help!! I am assuming this is in the config.php, but I cant seem to locate it amongst all of the files. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

No much to go on. Either they have put a redirect in your html includes. A redirect in the actual file.
you may want to access your site via ftp and rename the index file ( A Backup). Upload a new one and see if the re-direct still exists.
However when you do regain access again you do need to change all passwords and logins.

FYI, If you were in fact hacked. just a simple upgrade will not resolve all your issues. The latest version will probably resolve future hacks. But will not delete any past ones. You will most likely need to review all the files on your site to find and delete them.
