UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback Fantastic!

I just have to say that UBB.threads 7 is just fantastic, and it's not even finished yet. The number of new things that are really, really good is so high that it's hard to choose one single thing that's better than the other. And despite of all this, it's still clean and doesn't seem to be at all bloaty, like a lot of other forum systems out there.

As I *assume* that this is the basic version--I, too, am very impressed with the initial look of v7. I can't wait for the beta to become available so that I can roll up my sleeves and get involved in recreating my board.

Yes, what you see now is my own style work. I'm a coding geek, definitely not a graphics or style guru, so this is about the best I could come up with. However, pretty much everything is controlled via css so it should be very flexible in the hands of someone that has a sense of style

During the beta period we'll be having our resident graphics guy work on things to make the default look much better.

Have you thought about removing all tables and go completely dynamic with divs, for a true xhtml-compliance? It would do wonders for changing the look of the forum.
