UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Posts too large?

Had 2 issues after the recent ASO shared server migration. The first time issue was never figured out -- but then there's the second, which I personally encountered tonight.

After our server migration I got a few complaints that people couldn't post -- I think they were trying to paste large articles. I didn't have any problems (control panel settings? couldn't find any), but just now, I tried to edit a post -- it's not even exceptionally large! When I hid Edit, I just get a blank box.

Is there, anywhere in the UBB software, or perhaps cPanel, or a server setting, that may limit the size of a forum post??

While I could skim past the time issue, I can't ignore this posting issue. Everything was just fine -- for a long time (almost a decade) -- before they migrated servers!

What version of php do you have now?
There is a well documented issue with newer versions pre ubb 7.5.8

PHP 5.4.27

I see, thanks! Thought I was going crazy!

So you have two options.
Downgrade php or upgrade to ubb 7.5.8

Issue appears to be fixed as of this AM with a forum upgrade.

Thanks, Giz -- and Happy Birthday!

Not a problem, thanks
