For some undiscovered reason, my Control Panel does not appear in the chosen STYLE that I have selected. All other items are OK. The Control Panel shows all items in columns. All items will function OK it is just the appearance is NOT what it was before. It seems that perhaps a file is missing or corrupted but I cannot figure which, if any.

Any clues for troubleshooting would be appreciated. See attached image

Clear the cache on your browser and check again.
On occasion I see this even here on the forum.

I cleared the cache on my browser. Did not help. Is there supposed to be a file: admin.ccs in the Styles folder?

The styles directory should have a file named admin.css, such as on this site:
https://www.ubbcentral.com/forums/styles/admin.css

Thanks, I thought that could be the problem but I am unable to publish that admin.css filre to my website....says I do not have permissions for a file named .admin.css.tmp.

I have checked the permissions and they are correct. Not sure I understand where this .admin.css.tmp is coming from.

Silly question.
Did you open the file to see if it is empty or corrupted?

Okay capnbob.
it appears that you uploaded the admin.css file to the incorrect folder.

It is in:
http://www.tarpa.com/forum/admin/admin.css
Where is should be:
http://www.tarpa.com/forum/styles/admin.css
