A spider is a program that visits Web sites and reads their pages and other information in order to create entries for a search engine index. The major search engines on the Web all have such a program, which is also known as a "crawler" or a "bot."
Once, when I was a small child, I fell into a cave and was surrounded by bats; my caretaker, Alfred, soon rescued me... Err wait, that's the preface to Batman, my bad. I was once bitten by a radioactive spid... no, not that one either, that's Spiderman. I was once a Norse God with a hammer that could only be held by one who was worthy... wait, no that's Thor... Hmm...
I am the last of my kind, I stole an antiquated time traversal unit and use it to save species from extraterrestrial threats; I am at times nothing, but a man in a blue box... err wait, that's Dr Who
:snicker: I figured I'd get a bite with that one... Peter Davison wasn't my favorite Doctor, and the entire new series is completely different than the old one; I do rather enjoy watching new actors spin the role in their own way though .
As a little boy, I recall Patrick Troughton as being the earliest Doctor that I remember. (If I'm honest, I only recall hiding behind the sofa as I was so scared.)
Tom Baker was definitely the best (imho).
I stopped watching it for many years but started again when my boy was old enough to enjoy it. He grew up with David Tennant as the Doctor. It renewed my interest and Russel Davies' writing was just perfect for the time and a new generation of viewers. (Matt Smith was pretty good too, I thought.)
I've struggled with Mr. Capaldi though, after a pretty dire first appearance. I have recorded all the latest series to date but can't find the impetus to get started watching them.

Anyone want to suggest why I should?
I agree on all points, Matt Smith and David Tennant where great Doctor's, and it's hard to cope with the spin that Capaldi is lending... A couple of his episodes are great, but I'm not sure treating him like he'd David Bowie is really the great move for his appearance of the Doctor.
I also find myself wishing that they'd have shown more of the War Doctor, that incarnation fascinates me...
The way a "like" works is thus: 1. User likes a post. 2. On a like, the "like" number of the author is increased by one. End.
The way an "unlike" works is thus: 1. User "unlikes" their previous like. 2. The "like" number of the author is decreased by one (as the like is removed from their post). End.
A user cannot unlike a post they haven't previously liked. We cannot keep the number static if someone dislikes the post, as they could re-like the post and increase the number indefinitely.
It does not "like" a user like the stars system does, it does not "like" a topic like the stars system does. It likes posts, it loves posts, posts are its bread and butter. End.
Correct, it's just a number added to their profile so far; one could query the likes table though and pull up any stats where they wanted them, the table has the following columns: TYPE, POST_ID, POSTER_ID, TOPIC_ID, USER_ID, TIMESTAMP
Whereas dummy data populated would look like: p, 77, 2, 18, 2, 1442183370
I may add in a "IS_TOPIC" column that'd store if that post is the first post of a topic, for identifying a topic; initially I was going to build this out to like users and topics on its own, but backpeddled (though I left the type column that identifies a post like (p post, u user, t topic; but a topic is just the first post of a topic).
So we'd use a count to grab any distinct posts that the user has created that have been liked; will probably work its way into the user profile screen now that you mention it...
Check if your telephone is curving in the right direction.
At first when I had the yellow POTS, everything was slow, spotty, and sounded like R2D2. Then I upgraded to the yellow DSL and finally the yellow AND curved CABLE using MoCa. My Jomba Juice VoIPs were never better!

Sounds like he was making fun of the original post. I thought the OP was trying to be helpful. POTS = Plain Old Telephone Service. ____________
But...I don't understand all this like and dislike stuff. This isn't Facebook. Just my take on it.
